For six plus years, I was the play-by-play voice for Central Oregon Daily Sports, calling 20+ televised prep football, basketball, and volleyball, games annually. Enthusiastic, prepared, supportive, engaged–I am a storyteller, sharing statistics, trends and game basics, to complement the observations and insights of my talented partners, former college football player, Andy Satterfield, longtime Mountain View High School basketball coach, Craig Reid, and the versatile Mike Paul. All games are broadcast on BendBroadband SD 11 and HD 611.
A broad range of experience, I have served as the play-by-play voice for football, basketball and baseball games for the OSAA, the Bend Elks, KRCO, ESPN940, KBND and KPOV and called soccer and softball games for Central Oregon Daily Sports.
I was the voice for 100 Crook County High School football and boys’ and girls’ basketball games on KRCO for four years and called more than 100 Bend Elks’ summer collegiate baseball games.

SPORTS
— The Role Of Sports
HOW SPORTS GROW KIDS
In addition to calling televised and broadcast games for more than 15 years, I coached/managed Little League baseball for six seasons and have umpired more than 200 local, district and state Little League baseball games and officiated more than 500 soccer matches. Supported appropriately, sports offer tremendous opportunities to allow children and teens to gain valuable life lessons including the synergy of teamwork, the importance of executing your role, how to overcome and deal with adversity, the acceptance of humility and a glimpse of our potential.

WHAT I BRING
WHAT YOU GET
Voice
On radio and the Internet, I am the eyes of the listener. I paint an audio picture to help them not only hear but see the action. On TV, I complement what they can see with what they may not know to enhance their enjoyment.
Love
Sportscasters are not the stars–the game, the players and the coaches are the star. I love to be part of the action, to help craft a memorable keepsake for the players, parents and relatives, and enjoyment for our listeners and viewers.
Stats
While numbers cannot surpass the beauty of a coast-to-coast layup, a dynamic, line-hugging spike or a perfectly thrown football pass, well-timed and sublimely placed statistics can contextually elevate the story of a game.
A consummate professional
15 years on radio, TV and the Internet
Multiple sports experience
Diligent preparation
An inquisitive, prepared interviewer
I love to research, I love to interview guests, I love to make my broadcast partner shine, and I love to make the game the centerpiece of an entertaining, engaging and memorable story! Sports is fun and so the broadcast of the games should be fun!

MY INSPIRATION
— Color Commentary
Add Color To The Game
I live a dream, channeling the excellence of so many of the best broadcasters of my childhood and adult years in the Bay Area, including the sublime Bill King, Lon Simmons, Joe Starkey, Bob Fouts, Monte Moore, Duane Kuiper and Mike Krukow, over the air. I love telling an engaging story, sharing a colorful anecdote or connecting an obscure fact to the game at hand.
