Interviewing The Greats

While I access a generous vein of online and literary resources for the stories, anecdotes and information shared on The Ultimate Oldies Show, no better resource exists than the voices of the artists and the writers who covered them.

I have interviewed artists such as Chubby Checker, Tommy James, Emilio Castillo (Tower of Power), Ron Dante (Archies, Cuff Links), Peter Yarrow (Peter, Paul and Mary), Jimmy Webb (songwriter) and Darlene Love and writers including Joel Selvin (Bert Berns), Dick Rosemont, and Peter Ames Carlin (Brian Wilson, Beach Boys).

Through a growing network of music historians, journalists and fans, plus interviews available from the Library of Congress and on albums, I am able to integrate clips to help tell the stories of these incredible records, painting a rich palette for you, the listener!
